J&J Studios Welcomes Calvin

As a parent, you have spent months (maybe even years!) anxiously waiting for your baby’s arrival. The days may seem long and exhausting, but even these moments pass in the blink of an eye. The tiny toes, the pursed lips, and the button nose – You will want to remember every precious moment.

Baby Photography

It’s important to document every milestone. Starting with a newborn, you want to cherish their sleepy smiles, wispy hair, and funny expressions. Before you know it, your newborn will be crawling, rolling, and walking! Photographs of your child are valuable and something you will treasure for years to come.

Welcome to the world, Calvin.

I had the greatest privilege to photograph the sweetest family recently. Let me introduce you to Codi, Mike, and little Calvin. You can tell mom and dad are so in love with him already.

Codi was magical in an exquisite green gown. Motherhood is tiresome, as we all know. However, she did not show any signs of exhaustion. Instead, her motherly affection shined through the entire session. It’s not often newborns are bright-eyed and bushy tail during a shoot. Calvin was involved and curious, which was amazing to snag shots of him observing and watching his mother.

Safety First

As an infant photographer, it is not only my duty to capture beautiful images, but to do so safely. Babies are fragile, yet flexible. As your Philadelphia infant photographer, your little one will always be in good hands. We utilize comfortable poses and warm room temperatures that will keep your child content at all times.

It makes my heart soar to see new parents snuggle up and take in these moments with their babies. These two already make incredible parents to this handsome little guy.

Authentic, candid moments are some of my favorites. Calvin, of course, requested a quick snack break. So I thought – wow… here’s one of those special, commonly overlooked moments I need to capture of dad bottle-feeding his son. It’s one of those moments that goes by too quickly. One day, Calvin will be figuring out things on his own. A photograph like this freezes time for a person to look back on and reminisce.

Parents always have a choice for what they want to dress their babies in. Sometimes, down to a diaper is all it takes. It’s natural, and of course, comfortable! The swaddle used on Calvin was light and helped make him feel secure. And can I just say how beautiful the harmony of color is?
